The Potter and the clay

Written by Schalk_and_Elsa. Posted in repentance, Sabbatical Year

Every day we get up and face life with all its challenges. Life can be difficult and often is. We all suffer in some way and some, like Job, suffer in many ways at the same time. It seems to me, from personal experience, but also from speaking to other people, that life’s challenges have increased. Have you noticed it too? Not only are we facing increasing natural disasters, threats to our freedom, personal issues, but spiritually things have heated up as well. We live under immense pressure and it is increasing.

Why is this? Could it be that YHVH is trying to show us or teach us something?

How do we know if we have YHVH’s Spirit in us?

There are many references to YHVH’s Set Apart Spirit in Scripture. In the Tanakh we read of many people who had the Spirit of YHVH upon them always in order for them to perform a task or position. In the Apostolic writings we read of Y’shua speaking of this promise of YHVH, which will be fulfilled after He ascended to Heaven. This promise was YHVH’s Spirit as a helper to all who believed. Do you know if you have YHVH’s Spirit in you?

Heaven is the abode of angesl accordig to the Bible

In the last couple of articles, we have started investigating the spiritual dimension of the Scriptures. When we talk about the spiritual dimension we also need to talk about the spiritual beings. In Scripture we find a number of references to heavenly beings. What exactly does Scripture teach us about angels, and which parts of what we think we know is made up by man through time? Let us look at angels from Scripture to find the truth.

Generational curses and curses spoken over us

Written by Schalk_and_Elsa. Posted in Spiritual Warfare

In our previous article, we have looked at blessings and curses from YHVH’ s perspective and also from ours as believers. We have learned how powerful a blessing and a curse can be. When we bless somebody and invoke YHVH’s name, He is the power behind that blessing, if it is according to His will. Blessings or curses spoken over us by unbelievers can also have an effect in our lives. Allow me to explain.
