This week, we will dig a bit deeper into the topic of the spiritual realm with our focus on defiled land. Our foundation will be what is written about this in Scripture. You will be amazed to learn how land can be defiled and its impact on us. We will also look at ways to cleanse defiled land and how to cleanse and dedicate our homes.

At first, some of YHVH’s instructions appear strange to us. We do not see the sense in keeping them. Yet, if we are obedient and keep the commandment, we soon see the benefits. Sometimes you see the benefits after making the commandment a habit. The feast of Sukkot is one of these commandments. By keeping the feast a couple of times, you start to see how this positively shapes your life.
We are currently in the sixth month of the Biblical year, the month of Elul. This month is traditionally known as a month of introspection or repentance. This is a tradition, but a worthwhile one. It is good to consider where we are and what we have done. It is also good to ask YHVH to reveal to us what may be standing between us and Him and between us and fellow believers. We can use this time well and forgive and ask forgiveness.

As we have already seen, a number of our health issues come from the spiritual dimension. One of these sources is fear. Fear can create havoc in your life if it is not under control. We need to understand what fear and anxiety does to our bodies before we can start the healing. Healing also needs to take a physical and spiritual approach if we want to cure rather than treat.
