The (not so) pagan roots of words

The community of believers has become a minefield when it comes to the use of certain words and names. The words we use have become our label. If you say a word or name in a certain way, you are judged by some as being this or that. You are immediately categorized as either pure of pagan. Does this application of knowledge really make logical sense aside from the fact that we are not to judge one another? Can we do this? We shall also look at the name of Yshua in a follow-up post.

We all know that our salvation is by faith through His grace. If we believe that His Son, Y’Shua our Messiah, has died for us without any sin and was resurrected from the dead, then we have eternal life. But why does it then make any difference what I do? I cannot earn my salvation through works, thus I can do what I like and my salvation is secured. In this article I will proof to you that this believe is in contradiction to what our Messiah taught. Even Paul does not subscribe to this even though his verse of “cursed under the law” (Galations 3:10) is very frequently misquoted to support this theology. Let us examine the scriptures to see why it makes a difference what I say and do.
