Cleaning out the leaven…being prepared
In a few weeks time we will be celebrating the Passover , the feast of First Fruit and the Feast of Unleavened bread. It is time to start preparing our homes and our hearts for this time. We prepare by removing leaven from our homes, both physical and spiritual. You may think that we still have plenty of time to do this, but you also know how time flies and how busy we all are. We always think there is plenty of time left, spiritually as well, but is this true? Our lives are not our own, and can be cut short at any time. Will you be ready when that happens, will I? Have you considered this, or do you move these kind of thoughts quickly to the back of your mind, not wanting to think about it? We should not do this, but instead ponder this and make sure we are adequately prepared. Leaven can’t remove itself and just as we prepare for this feast, by removing all leaven from our homes, we are to make sure we are spiritually prepared too.

The Last Supper was not a Passover seder
Every year before and during Passover, we are confronted with the same questions. One of these questions is: was the last meal Y’shua had with His disciples a Pesach seder? There are many passages in Scripture that seem contradictory, especially on this topic, but we believe that these seeming contradictions are because of our lack of understanding. We believe that all Scripture is inspired by YHVH’s Ruach (Spirit). There are minor scribal and translation errors in Scripture, but apart from these, the message remains the same. We will show you evidence from the Scripture, regarding the last meal Y’shua had with His disciples. We will also look at the instructions regarding these days and how Y’shua fulfilled the feast of Passover. All this is important in order for us to understand why His last meal could not have been a Passover seder.

Are you willing to be transformed?
There are seven feasts in Abba YHVH’s annual feast cycle. These feasts are perpetual and have a very specific purpose, fulfillment and a special spiritual significance. This cycle is a cycle of sanctification unto righteousness. During this cycle, another area in our lives is transformed, bringing us one step closer to who we are to be in Y’shua; transforming us into His image. Are you willing to be transformed?

How to celebrate Pesach and the Feast of Unleavened Bread
Abba YHVH, in His greatness, has given us seven festivals to celebrate throughout the year. These are His appointed times. We are, in this study, going to focus on the practical observation of the feasts of Pesach and Unleavened bread. In Ex 12:2-29 we find the instructions for the very first time these feasts were to be observed. These were given to Moses by YHVH before the exodus out of Egypt. Are all these instructions applicable to us? Do we have to slaughter a lamb and apply the blood to the doorposts? What does our Father desire from us in the observation of these feasts?
