We read in Scripture that we are to teach our children. What does this mean? Does this imply that all responsibility to teach our children remains with us as parents? Should we be teaching them math, history and everything else, or does it only refer to YHVH’s Word? If our children don’t know YHVH personally, how would they put their trust in Him and why would they want to obey Him? If WE don’t teach our children about YHVH, somebody else may teach them falsehood. Children are eager to learn; they are innocent and don’t question what they learn, even if it is false. YHVH gave us, as parents, the authority and responsibility to teach our children about Him. Why? Because then they will put their confidence in YHVH and not forget His works.
