People Pleasing and Biblical Boundaries
Broken people are inclined to be people pleasers, they tend not to have clear boundaries. They want to be accepted and will therefore always say yes. They are the ones you can always depend on to get things done. They are easily manipulated by others pleas or anger. They say yes, but may feel immense resentment while doing what they said they would. This leads to bitterness towards that person and themselves. They feel controlled by other people, but are unable to break this cycle for fear of an outburst of anger or losing a relationship. They are always taken advantage of by others. When they say no they feel selfish and guilty. Do you recognize this in your life?

Forgive yourself
Do you love yourself? Do you even like yourself? If you answered no, why not? If you were to think long and hard, you may find this feeling towards yourself rooted in unforgiveness. Many of us, myself included, struggle to forgive ourselves. We may have done things in the past, we regret and may even live with the consequences of those past sins. This may cause guilt, lack of self-esteem and even self-hatred. Did you know that this self-hatred gives your body permission to destroy itself?

How the spiritual realm influences us
This is the second of a series of articles about the spiritual realm and its influence on us. This may seem a strange topic especially for us Torah-observant believers in Y’shua. It is a topic that is often ignored or not much talked about, especially in this movement. When YHVH revealed the truth to us that His law has not been done away with and that all His commandments were still valid, basically that we have been lied to all our lives, we put all things identified with Christianity aside. For many years, we focused on learning how to keep YHVH’s commandments, while unlearning all the ingrained untruths. However, we believe that YHVH is guiding us to learn more about the spiritual realm especially how we can be influenced by it and how to deal with it when we are. This will become even more important as things progress toward the second coming of Messiah Y’shua. The world is immersed in darkness and we as believers must know how to navigate through it in order to live effective lives. This is a daily battle and we are to be properly equipped. We will otherwise be defeated or distracted so much that we will not be able to do what we are here to do.
