We investigate what is needed to be able to move from the original context to our current context in a sound way. At the same time we need to understand some of the history of interpretation to be able to fully comprehend what the authors of the Apostolic Scriptures are trying to explain to us.     I recently received an article via e-mail. The message is about a very popular topic “Can the law save?” This article is a prime example of the deception of our day and age. Deception comes very easily when you quote scripture out of context, when you only spend a few minutes studying your Bible and rely on people for your instruction without verifying what they teach. Can you spot these deceptions or are they too well hidden in the half truths? In this article I will explain some of these tricks that are used to deceive people into believing false doctrines.
