• The spiritual dimension of Y’Shua’s acts

The spiritual dimension of Y’Shua’s acts

Now that we have a good understanding of the basics of the spiritual world, it is interesting to relook at the ministry of Y’shua with a focus on the spiritual dimension. If we focus on this we start to see a number of passages, that now either add a new understanding or raise a whole bunch of new questions. These previously unexplainable passages, now make us take note. Let us focus on the ministry of Y’Shua and identify some behind the scenes things that were going on in the spiritual realm. It may just clarify some of those wierd passages in Scripture for you.

  • What are demons?

    What are demons?

We have already looked at angels and the adversary in our study of the spiritual realm. In this study we will investigate what exactly demons are and where did they come from. To often there is a lack of knowledge regarding demons, idols and ghosts. Thus we need to turn to Scripture to see how the writers in the different periods thought about these spiritual beings.

  • Unleavening our lives…its all about intimacy

Unleavening our lives…its all about intimacy

Spring is in the air; the Barley is aviv and the new moon has been sighted. A new year has begun! It is almost Pesach, and we are in the final stages of searching and removing the leaven from our homes. This physical action, to remove leaven has a deep spiritual significance. Leaven is symbolic of all the issues in our lives that cause a hindrance in our relationship with Abba YHVH, and it is amazing how, while we spend time “spring cleaning,” we are confronted with this leaven in your own lives. This search for and removal of the leaven culminates in the Pesach meal and the seven days of unleavened bread. We shall show you in this study how the preparation for, and the feast of Unleavened bread is also about restoring or creating intimacy between us and our Heavenly Father.

  • How to correct in love

    How to correct in love

We have come to understand, through personal experience and this study, that not following this procedure of correction, as laid out in Scripture, is equal to not showing love. Not correcting fellow believers does them a disservice. They will happily continue in sin, which will ultimately cause their spiritual death and the loss of their souls to Satan. Is this what you would like for your friends?

  • Who is Y’shua?

    Who is Y’shua?

Have you ever wondered who Y’shua really is? In our study of Torah, we can forget who Y’shua is and what He did for us. This happened to me too. I was so busy learning Torah, that I started to wonder where Y’shua fitted in. It was almost as if He got vaguer and vaguer until I realized with a shock what has happened. I realized that I have lost that joy I had in me, I have become hard inside. I asked YHVH to reveal Y’shua again to me, and it started changing. I know now more than ever that we cannot exist without Him Who redeemed us. It was almost as if something died inside me at that time, but it is alive again. That is the reason I want to share this with you, in order for you not to forget and to remain alive in Him.

  • Our Creator’s name and the name of His Son

Our Creator’s name and the name of His Son

In the previous post, we have seen how poor scholarship can lead to deceptions and misconceptions. In this post, we shall look at the name of YHVH and Y’shua. The purpose is not to create contention, on the contrary; it is to bring peace. We want to show you, firstly, that we are living in a time of restoration, and that we are to embrace that. However, secondly, that we are in this to be loving and patient toward one another for we do not have all truth revealed to us yet.
