When we study Bible prophecy, we find many references to a remnant. We often read about YHVH’s judgement and how a remnant remains. It is prophesied that there will be a future judgment and that a remant will remain. Everybody wants to be part of that remnant. We want to be part of the group that survive YHVH’s judgment. The question is who is this remnant and what does it entail to be part of the remant? Is it something we would want to be part of and if yes, how?

Shavuot, the feast of oaths, an appointed time with our Heavenly Father. On this day we seven ourselves, we re-dedicate ourselves to YHVH. We have come to experience Shavuot as focusing on our relationship with YHVH, both individually and nationally. It does make sense because on this day the Torah was given and later the Holy Spirit. Both the Torah and the Holy Spirit enables us to have a relationship with our Heavenly Father. The Torah teaches how to be set apart and the Holy Spirit enables us to be obedient to these instructions.

Y’shua is the Light of the world; the Word made flesh; He is the Good Shepherd, the Bread of Life. We learned in a previous article ” Y’shua in Prophecy – Part 3 -The Servant,” that He is also the Suffering Servant, Who redeemed us with His life by being a guilt offering. It is fascinating to see how many times YHVH has revealed Y’shua to us through the prophets. It makes us marvel at Him, knowing that he had a plan of redemption from the very beginning.
In this article, we will learn that Y’shua is the Branch also. We need to know and understand all this in order to have a strong foundation, especially when we are confronted by those who have fallen away from the faith in Messiah Y’shua or those to whom Y’shua has not yet been revealed as the Messiah.
War is coming and with that, captivity! That is a very dramatic statement but it is very likely! We are currently experiencing terror, drought, famine, earthquakes and plagues all around us. The world is being judged with the righteous judgments from YHVH. What we are experiencing in the world is a cycle of punishment. There is hope; however, only sincere repentance can change this! We shall determine with this article, through the study of the scriptures, the validity of this statement, glean some insight from Habakkuk and focus on what true repentance is.
