• What is Sanctification and why we need it?

What is Sanctification and why we need it?

We have come to realize that the topic of sanctification is probably one of the most overlooked topics in the believing community. There is a lot of focus on salvation and very little emphasis on sanctification. This is most likely caused by the incorrect assumption that salvation fixes everything in our lives. Salvation is foundational, but there is more to a set apart life. It is both the start and the destination of our journey, but there is a need for sanctification in between. Purity and Holiness

Purity and holiness are two words that that have come across my path so much the last couple of weeks and not only mine. It is as if YHVH is urging His children to focus on becoming pure and holy before Him. Purity and holiness aren’t new, YHVH has always required it of us, but it is as if there is an urgency to this. We have to be pure and holy. Why is this necessary, you may wonder?

Maybe it is simply that doctors are not trained to deal with the source of these diseases. We need to address these diseases at a spiritual level if we want to see them cured. So what is the deal here? How do we get to the cure?

Uncleanness and separation…are these commandments still for us?

In our previous post, we wrote on the law of Niddah and some other relevant commandments. We have learned how uncleanness brought about by normal physiological functions or illness can cause separation. This compelled us to question the spiritual implications of this. We know there is a physical and a spiritual side to everything. Sometimes, what we perceive as negative in the fleshy realm can actually be beneficial or positive on either a physical or spiritual level. Is this the same with uncleanness? Furthermore, knowing that there is a physical and a spiritual realm, how does physical uncleanness affect us spiritually, if at all?
