We become holy or set apart by the process of sanctification. YHVH wants us to be set apart people for Him. Sanctification is the process of removing everything that causes separation between us and YHVH. The process of sanctification started for us with obedience to His Word. As we learned how YHVH wanted us to live, we left behind the ways of the world and followed His way. We repented of our lawlessness and became more sanctified. this is an ongoing process, it is a journey. There is, however, more to the process of sanctification. I know this since I have experienced this, I felt that something was holding me back spiritually and I didn’t know what it was. I found the answer in getting free from the captivity caused by the iniquity of my forefathers. This is also a part of this sanctification process and many people don’t realize they they are being held captive.
Now that we have a good understanding of the basics of the spiritual world, it is interesting to relook at the ministry of Y’shua with a focus on the spiritual dimension. If we focus on this we start to see a number of passages, that now either add a new understanding or raise a whole bunch of new questions. These previously unexplainable passages, now make us take note. Let us focus on the ministry of Y’Shua and identify some behind the scenes things that were going on in the spiritual realm. When we read about the ministry of Y’Shua, a number of things become a lot more interesting once our eyes have been opened to the spiritual dimension. Let us see what Y’Shua mission on earth included.
We have found ourselves in awkward situations when we stayed in the hostel in Jerusalem. People from all walks of life go to Jerusalem for different reasons. People are often eager to share their faith, prophesy or pray for whomever is interested. I once shared a table with a lady in the kitchen at breakfast time and she wanted to pray and prophesy for me. She was doing the same for everybody she encountered. How are we to deal with this? Should you allow a complete stranger to lay hands on you and pray for you?
It is taught that we are to be careful whom we associate with or whom we allow to lay hands on us, for evil spirits, may be transferred to us. In this study, we will search scripture to find out if this statement is true.
