Scripture memorization … having YHVH’s Word in our hearts…

The power of Scripture is unlike anything else on earth. It’s a force to be reckoned with, containing intrinsic power, high enough to give us insight, deep enough to give us peace, wide enough to mold our personalities, and strong enough to bear us through horrendous days.2

  • Should we do the commandments, if we can’t do it all properly?

Should we do the commandments, if we can’t do it all properly?

It is almost the seventh Biblical month, and the fall feasts are just around the corner. YHVH gave us these feasts as celebrations, but also as teaching aids to learn more about Him and His Kingdom. As the feasts draw near, we need to look into what YHVH requires of us, because we want to please Him. This sometimes leads to discouragement, because we can’t keep all the commandments due to the absence of a Temple. Some people even teach that we, in the diaspora, are not to celebrate the feasts at all because we don’t live in the land. This mindset affects other areas as well, and we have been asked if we are to do the commandments at all seeing that we can’t do it all properly. We shall first seek to find proof that we are to keep the commandments wherever we are and then see if we can find out to what an extend we are to do it.

  • The Law of Moses is the Law of YHVH!

The Law of Moses is the Law of YHVH!

The phrase “the Law of Moses” is used in Scripture quite a few times, but does this phrase mean that it carries with it only the authority of Moses, and can therefor be abolished? In order to answer this question, we need to determine what is contained in the Law of Moses and who gave these commandments. When we know this, it would be easier for us to understand how much weight the law of Moses carries. We will also study to see how Y’shua perceived the law of Moses and what He taught about it. What if we can prove to you from Scripture that the law of Moses is the law of YHVH? Would that convince you that these instructions are eternal? Also, what would you, as Y’shua’s disciple do it you knew He not only kept, but also taught the Law of Moses?

  • Disobedience is not a game, it could change the course of your life

Disobedience is not a game, it could change the course of your life

What if your next act of disobedience changes the course of your life? Have you ever considered this? I am not talking about losing a blessing as a result of being disobedient; I am talking about a profound change. YHVH is very patient with us; I don’t think we realize just how much. Will He always be? Or will His patience with us run out? In this study, we look at the lives of different people in the Bible to find answers to these questions.

  • It is time for us to get out of slavery and return to YHVH!

It is time for us to get out of slavery and return to YHVH!

It is almost time to celebrate the Passover. The Passover commemorates YHVH’s redemption of His people from slavery in Egypt. Every year when we tell the story of the Exodus, we tell our own story as well; a story of redemption from sin, through the blood of our Passover, Y’shua our Messiah. Do you have such a redemption story to tell? If not, read on and we will show you that you too can choose freedom and life. You also can become free from the burden of sin and experience your own personal exodus. You too can break the curses…

  • Mikvah – Part 2 – How to

    Mikvah – Part 2 – How to

When we study the Scriptures, we usually conclude that going into a mikvah is predominantly for reasons of ritual purity. However, when we search more, we learn that sin causes spiritual uncleanness. For this reason, we are to immerse ourselves when we come to faith. This immersion is symbolic of our cleansing and being a new creature in Y’shua. This act of immersing ourselves in faith brings us closer to YHVH. Just understand that immersion is not what removes our sin or uncleanness. We have learned in the previous article Who the source of living water is, He cleanses us, not our act of immersion. So, if we want to immerse ourselves, how are we to do this?
