• Transferal of spirits

    Transferal of spirits

We have found ourselves in awkward situations when we stayed in the hostel in Jerusalem. People from all walks of life go to Jerusalem for different reasons. People are often eager to share their faith, prophesy or pray for whomever is interested. I once shared a table with a lady in the kitchen at breakfast time and she wanted to pray and prophesy for me. She was doing the same for everybody she encountered. How are we to deal with this? Should you allow a complete stranger to lay hands on you and pray for you? It is taught that we are to be careful whom we associate with or whom we allow to lay hands on us, for evil spirits, may be transferred to us. In this study, we will search scripture to find out if this statement is true.

  • Secrets, Rebellion, Bitterness and Poison

    Secrets, Rebellion, Bitterness and Poison

This week we are going to look at secret sins and rebellion and the consequences thereof. You may be surprised at what we find here. Rebellion is one of those sins, we think other people commit and the same goes for secret sins. We look down on people who do this and disregard any teaching on the subject because we believe it doesn’t concern us. Please read this, as I said, you may be surprised by these findings.

  • Those ten times

    Those ten times

YHVH is a good Father to us. He not only gave us instructions on how to live, but also practical examples through the lives of other people who went before us. It started with Adam and Eve in the garden. Through their lives and those who followed after them, we learn what YHVH likes and what is not acceptable to Him. Through narrative, He teaches us. The Exodus from Egypt and the Israelite’s journey through the wilderness is an especially good example of this.

  • Having an attitude of gratitude

    Having an attitude of gratitude

I believe that one of the reasons YHVH gives us children is to teach us about ourselves :) Consider what happens when we give our children everything they desire at the very moment they want it? They get spoiled. When children are spoiled and told that they can’t have something, they pout and sulk. Some will even storm off or throw a tantrum. It is usually an ugly display of discontentment. This conduct is not unique to children. When things don’t go our way, we sometimes act in the same way towards our heavenly Father. We tend to focus on our perception of how things should be and when it’s not that way, we complain and feel discontented. The purpose of the article is to identify and change this behavior. It has helped me, maybe it will help you too…

  • Disobedience is not a game, it could change the course of your life

Disobedience is not a game, it could change the course of your life

What if your next act of disobedience changes the course of your life? Have you ever considered this? I am not talking about losing a blessing as a result of being disobedient; I am talking about a profound change. YHVH is very patient with us; I don’t think we realize just how much. Will He always be? Or will His patience with us run out? In this study, we look at the lives of different people in the Bible to find answers to these questions.

  • If you will not return to Me…

If you will not return to Me…

Just take a look around you! There is widespread famine, tropical storms, earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars, financial hardship, moral decay and infertility. The whole earth seems to be in turmoil. Is this the beginning of the end times? Are we experiencing what Y’shua described to His disciples in Matthew 24? Are these purely natural events or are these calls from Yahovah? Do you know the cyclical pattern of punishment described in Scripture and the sequence in which these punishements occur? What will happen next and what are we to do?
